I rarely like to talk about the past, but even though this album is now 10 years old, it is more relevant now than ever. "American Life" not only tackles difficult issues, it immerses itself in issues we have today. Musically & artistically this album pushed the boundaries & even though it was released by one of the biggest pop icons of all time. It manages to stay away from pop culture & focus on self awareness as a human & as a culture. So incase you missed this album during its original release it is time to pick it up & enjoy the greatness of it now!!!
