Lately I've been thinking about the concept of a soul or whatever you call the thing that makes a human who they truly are. I have come to this theory that some people have one of these & some people do not. The people that do not have one of these or that have very little of a soul seem to cling to the people that do. Now it seems these people are not necessarily evil, its more as if they are just empty.
Even if this is accurate, I'd like to think this world we live in & the people who live in it have some depth. I want to believe that we as a society can see each other for our souls rather than for the physical, but most often these thoughts seem to be quiet echos of a dream. People base relationships on the superficial, rather than base it upon who a person is & religions say they emphasize on the soul, but often end up committing the same crime. If love is real there should be no such thing as straight or gay. Right!? Is attraction, sex & infatuation really the true definition of love? I hope not!
